Stop No. 10 of 14 had us visiting College Park, Maryland, on Saturday to watch Randy Edsall's Terrapins scrimmage at Byrd Stadium.
After the scrimmage, our bus hit the road, in order to watch Rutgers' scrimmage Saturday night.
Get host Dave Revsine, BTN analyst Gerry DiNardo and BTN.com senior writer Tom Dienhart's tweets from the Maryland scrimmage below.
Looked like Hills has the edge in QB race - got most reps with the 1's, and Edsall said as much post-practice.

Outside of one bad pick (late, over the middle and at Will Likely - bad combo), Hills had a nice day - seemed in command of offense

Coaches made it clear that taking care of ball is #1 priority. Rowe seems to have dropped to #3 based on today. May be a connection there

Edsall said afterward that he held a number of players out today - particularly on the lines - again, makes it tougher to gauge team

So - not everyone on DL played, and they were in base D entire day. Pretty clear, though, that front 7 on D is not the strength of this team

Liked the looks of DJ Moore - seems like he'll contribute right away at WR. Edsall also mentioned Jahrvis Davenport as a guy who can help

Brandon Ross ripped off a few big runs - seems he has the inside track to be the starter at TB. Had some big holes to run through

BTN Bus Tour #Maryland Watched a 2 hour scrimmage, just what teams need 2 weeks from opener. They got a bunch done - very valuable tape eval

BTN Bus Tour #Maryland Def @ little bit of disadvantage 2day having 2 stay in base def but techniques used in scrum will b use in every game

BTN Bus Tour #Maryland Appears run game on O & D is an emphasis O is in some traditional 2 back helps run/PA and 4 man front helps D vs run.

BTN Bus Tour #Maryland Like several B1G teams there's a QB competition. Today Perry Hills had the best day and most opportunities.

Perry Hills tells me he has gotten more athletic. It shows. Save for a bad pick, he looked good today for @umterps. pic.twitter.com/axrnAYSpL2

Brandon Ross is one half of a good RB duo for @umterps, who must run better. pic.twitter.com/JOSWOS4G8r

Big freshman OT Derwin Gray sat out today's scrimmage. He is being counted on to develop quickly for @umterps. pic.twitter.com/MGSZQcHqu3

As for CB tandems, @umterps duo of Will Likely and Sean Davis is one of the best in the Big Ten. pic.twitter.com/LDVFbxF18a
