Stop No. 3 of 14 had us visiting Lincoln, Nebraska, to watch Mike Riley's first Nebraska team. We actually had the opportunity to catch a pair of practices, both Tuesday and Wednesday night.

BTN Bus Tour #Huskers - First thing that jumps out is how big and physical they are up front on both sides of the LOS - like MSU/OSU

BTN Bus Tour #Huskers As in any coaching transition "Culture" is different,1 way its diff is pract 7pm out of heat, more laid back than most
— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 13, 2015
BTN Bus Tour #Huskers Much like it looked in the spring defense appears to be a smaller package which most likely will cut down on big plays
— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 13, 2015
BTN Bus Tour #Huskers I can't remember visiting Neb & not talking about improving pass game regardless of the QB- this year is no different
— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 13, 2015
BTN Bus Tour #Huskers Watching the off scheme develop still most intriguing story, how the Spread & West Coast can be mixed most interesting
— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 13, 2015
BTN Bus Tour #Huskers r 1of the teams in country that will not have any traditional 2 a day practices - its becoming more and more the case
— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 13, 2015
BTN Bus Tour #Huskers Regardless of O/D scheme a few teams separate themselves with depth and size up front - Neb is one of those teams
— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 13, 2015

FWIW - AJ Bush rotating in 2nd behind Armstrong for Huskers. Great frame - looks the part

Marcus Newby lining up with 1st group of LB's along with Rose-Ivey and Banderas
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 12, 2015
Armstrong has tried to force a couple of things that weren't there in 7 on 7 - pass INT'd by Joshua Kalu, then snatched back by J Turner
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 12, 2015
Armstrong has had some sharp moments - just hit Stanley Morgan over the middle with an absolute strike
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 12, 2015
One thing that stands out every time we're at Nebraska, but that bears repeating - this is a really impressive team physically
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 12, 2015
Said earlier Bush was rotating in 2nd at QB - he's been rotating in 3rd in team drill we're watching now. Clearly a battle
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 12, 2015
QB play has been spotty in drills we've seen. TA w a couple of INT's & couple more that could have been. Then Fyfe came in & threw one too
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 12, 2015
Josh Banderas has been all over the field tonight - has been really impressive
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 12, 2015
Just got a couple of minutes with Mike Riley. Sang praises of A Williams, B Reilly, among others.

This is not a complete overhaul offensively - a lot of stuff will look very familiar to Neb fans (spread formations, read option, etc)
