Jordan Lucas was a big part of one of the Big Ten's best and most underrated defenses a season ago.

Lucas tallied 58 tackles, tied for third on the team, two sacks, a team-leading nine pass breakups and nine passes defended for a unit that finished in the top 3 in the nation in yards allowed (3,623), rushing yards allowed (1,306), yards per game (278.7) and touchdowns allowed (24).
