Yes, that's Iowa defensive end Drew Ott eating a raw egg during an interview with ESPN at Big Ten media days Thursday.
Why, you're almost certainly asking yourself? He said he's eaten eggs right out of the carton ever since he had to start making his own breakfast, adding that he's lazy.
But why the shell, and how hard is it to crack the thing and throw the egg in the microwave?
"It has calcium," Ott said of the egg shell.
According to Iowa SID Matt Weitzel, Ott was more than happy to take down the egg on camera. In fact, he said, "Thank you, I needed that."
