BTN is airing 18 different classic games, ranging from 2007-2014, as part of our new "Big Ten Classics" series.

Tonight's game, which will air at 8 p.m. ET on BTN/BTN2Go, is latest matchup in the Michigan-Ohio State series.

This game was an emotional roller coaster for both teams. Ohio State walk-on defensive lineman Kosta Karageorge disappeared earlier in the week and was recognized along with the team's seniors who were playing their final game at Ohio Stadium. The next day, Karageorge was found dead.

J.T. Barrett helped lead the Buckeyes to a 42-28 win, but the redshirt freshman QB suffered a season-ending ankle injury on the opening play of the fourth quarter.

On the other side, the loss for Michigan meant the Wolverines would miss out on a bowl game for the first time since the 2009 season.

Here is a breakdown of OSU's 2014 win over Michigan, including the top moment, stat line and individual player in the game.

Top moment: Michigan quarterback Devin Gardner left the sideline to console Ohio State's J.T. Barrett, who was on the turf after suffering what turned out to be a season-ending ankle injury on the opening play of the fourth quarter.

Top stat line: The two teams had near-identical numbers in rushing attempts (OSU: 39; U-M: 38). However, the Buckeyes held a 233-121 advantage in rushing yards, which ultimately decided the game. Ezekiel Elliott led OSU with 121 yards and two rushing touchdowns, averaging 7.1 yards per tote.

Top player: J.T. Barrett passed for 176 yards and a touchdown, while also adding 89 rushing yards and two touchdowns in only three quarters.
