Fresh off its first regional championship, Illinois eyes its first Super Regional championship and College World Series berth.

The Illini are two wins away from Omaha, home of the College World Series, and only Vanderbilt, the reigning national champ, stands in the way.
The good news: Illinois hosts the best-of-three series at Illinois Field, where it is a program-best 25-2 and has rattled off 19 consecutive victories, the longest active streak in NCAA.
Things get started with Game 1 at 8 p.m. ET.

In the Big Ten's other Super Regional, Virginia rallied past Maryland, 5-3, on Friday afternoon to take Game 1. The two longtime ACC rivals play Game 2 on Saturday afternoon.
