Athlon Sports releases its 2015 Big Ten football predictions

The college football season is still a good three months away, but that isn't stopping publications from releasing their 2015 previews.

Athlon Spots posted its 2015 Big Ten Predictions on Thursday.

See some of Athlon's predictions below:

Big Ten East
1. Ohio State 8-0
2. Michigan State 6-2
3. Penn State 4-4
4. Michigan 4-4
5. Maryland 3-5
6. Indiana 2-6
7. Rutgers 1-7

Note: In picking Ohio State to go 8-0, Athlon predicts a fourth straight perfect Big Ten campaign for the Buckeyes and Urban Meyer.

Big Ten West
1. Wisconsin 6-2
2. Nebraska 5-3
3. Minnesota 5-3
4. Iowa 4-4
5. Northwestern 4-4
6. Illinois 3-5
7. Purdue 1-7

Note: If Wisconsin finishes atop the Big Ten West, it will mark its fourth Big Ten title game appearance in the event's five seasons.
