Top seed Florida held off Michigan, 3-2, on Monday night in Game 1 of the 2015 College World Series final.

The Wolverines put runners on the corners with no outs in the top of the seventh inning, but reliever Delanie Gourley stranded Sierra Romero at third base to seal the win.
Florida scored two runs in the first inning and added another run in the third. Abby Ramirez smacked a two-run single in the sixth to account for Michigan's runs.
Michigan, which had won its previous 28 games, faces elimination in Game 2 at 8 p.m. ET Tuesday night. Win Tuesday night, and the Wolverines will force a winner-take-all Game 3 at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday.
