To say Big Ten teams have struggled with the bullpen doors at Target Field during the five-day Big Ten tourney is an understatement.
It happened again in Sunday morning's tourney final, as Michigan reliever Mac Lozer struggled to open the door on his way to entering the game vs. Maryland.
Lozer and the Wolverines finally solved the door, but not until left fielder Kevin White came to the rescue.
White, from his left field position, ran into the door, which unjammed it and allowed Lozer to run to the mound.
