No. 3 Michigan held off No. 4 Maryland, 4-3, to win the 2015 Big Ten Baseball Tournament title Sunday at Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins.

The tourney crown marks Michigan's ninth and gives the Wolverines the Big Ten's automatic berth to the NCAA tournament.

Michigan beat two-time defending tournament champ Indiana, second-seeded Iowa, top-seeded Illinois and Maryland on its way to capturing the event and making its 22nd NCAA tourney.

The final, originally scheduled for 2 p.m. ET, was moved up to 10 a.m. due to the threat of rain in Minneapolis.
