With a share of the inaugural Big Ten crown on the line and playing at rival Maryland, Brown exploded for eight goals to lead Johns Hopkins to a 15-12 win Saturday night.

Brown, on goal No. 7, became just the fourth player in Johns Hopkins annals to reach 50 goals in a season, and the first since 1995.

Thanks to Brown's big night, Johns Hopkins earned a share of the Big Ten title and claimed the top overall seed in the Big Ten tournament.
