#BTNStandout: Purdue 2B Cody Strong makes great barehanded play

Cody Strong is becoming a #BTNStandout regular. Earlier this week, the Purdue second baseman went horizontal for this catch in short right field.

In Friday's doubleheader loss to Maryland, Strong was at it again, this time making a great barehanded play on a dribbler up the middle.

The ball had a lot of English on it, but Strong was able to pick it up cleanly and throw across his body, despite all of his momentum heading toward the third base dugout. Making the play even better, Kyle Wood made a nifty scoop of the one-hop throw to complete the highlight-reel out.

The scoop was so nice, Strong gave Wood a tip of the cap on his way back to second base.
