The former Michigan standout and 2014 Big Ten Player of the Year found his house "popcorned" following the Sacramento Kings' home finale Monday night.
It's all part of a tradition, one that usually features veterans filling rookies' cars with popcorn.
Because Stauskas is car-less, teammates Rudy Gay, DeMarcus Cousins and Reggie Evans, a former Iowa star, emptied several bags of popcorn throughout Stauskas' apartment.
"Hold on, hold on," said Stauskas, as he walked around his place. "This is, like, horrible. How am I going to clean this?
"My house got popcorned. My house got popcorned! Look at this, it's everywhere!"
Stauskas, with one game remaining in the season, is averaging 4.2 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.9 assists.
