Butler 4, Purdue 0 – Game 1
Two Butler pitchers shut out Purdue en route to a 4-0 victory in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday afternoon. Kyle Wood and Harry Shipley each had two-hit games for the Boilermakers.
Butler 13, Purdue 1 – Game 2
Butler scored all 13 runs in the nightcap over the middle innings (4-5-6), including eight in the top of the sixth en route to a 13-1 victory in the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday. Purdue's lone run came in the sixth inning when Brandon Krieg scored on an RBI ground out by Kyle Johnson after doubling to open the frame. Read purduesports.com's recap.
Illinois 8, Michigan State 4
Kevin Duchene scattered eight hits and allowed just one run en route to leading Illinois to an 8-4 win over Michigan State on Saturday afternoon. Casey Fletcher and Matthew James each had two-hit and two-RBI days. Read fightingillini.com's recap.
Maryland 3, Michigan 1 – Game 1
The Terrapins (18-6, 4-1 Big Ten) received another outstanding start from right-hander Mike Shawaryn, who went 7 1/3 and struck out seven to pick up the 3-1 win over Michigan on Saturday afternoon. Read umtermps.com's recap.

Michigan 10, Maryland 1 – Game 2
The University of Michigan baseball team used an eight-run fifth inning and 7 1/3 solid innings from freshman Ryan Nutof to defeat Maryland 10-1 in the nightcap of a Big Ten doubleheader Saturday afternoon at the Wilpon Complex, home of Ray Fisher Stadium. Read mgoblue.com's recap.
Iowa 5, Indiana 1
Michael Hickman threw eight strong innings, allowing three hits and one run, to lead Iowa to a 5-1 victory over Indiana on Saturday afternoon. Nick Roscetti hit a two-run home run in the decisive seventh inning. Read hawkeyesports.com's recap.
Nebraska 1, Texas 0
Deadlocked in a scoreless game in the bottom of the 15th inning, senior Austin Darby delivered a one-out base hit to left field and Texas? Ben Johnson booted the ball, allowing Tanner Lubach to score from second base for the game-winning run. The 1-0 victory clinched the series for the Huskers, who are now 20-7 on the year.
