Seven Big Ten women's basketball teams made the NCAA tournament, it was announced Monday night.

Big Ten regular season and postseason champ Maryland, which has won 24 consecutive games, paces the the conference as the No. 1 seed in the Spokane Region.
Iowa (No. 3, Oklahoma City Region), Minnesota (No. 8, Notre Dame Region), Nebraska (No. 9, Greensboro), Northwestern (No. 7, Oklahoma City Region), Ohio State (No. 5, Greensboro) and Rutgers (No. 8, Albany Region) all also made the field. The Wildcats are in the field for the first time since 1997.
