State Farm Center wasted no time getting to work on its latest renovations.

It started pretty much right after Illinois' home finale victory over Nebraska on Wednesday night, in fact.

No. 8 seed Illinois opens the Big Ten tourney vs. No. 9 seed Michigan at noon ET Thursday on BTN/BTN2Go.
