Day 2 of the 2015 Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament is in the books. Fans were treated to four games on Thursday, highlighted by Minnesota's 82-78 victory over Purdue in the nightcap.

In other action, Michigan State handled Michigan, 69-49, Rutgers held off Indiana, 63-52, and Nebraska cruised by Illinois, 86-71.

In the first game of the day, Aerial Powers had 16 points and 15 rebounds as No. 8 seed Michigan State beat ninth-seeded Michigan 69-49. Powers recorded her 24th double-double of the season. The Spartans (16-14) advance to face top-seeded and No. 4-ranked Maryland on Friday.

In the second game of the afternoon, Kahleah Cooper scored 16 points and Betnijah Laney had 12 points and 15 rebounds for No. 23 Rutgers. Tyler Scaife added 14 points and Briyona Canta had 10 assists for the Scarlet Knights (22-8), who face fourth-seeded and No. 24-ranked Northwestern in Friday's quarterfinals.

In the third game, Natalie Romeo hit seven 3-pointers and scored 26 points, both career highs, to lead seventh-seeded Nebraska to an 86-71 win over Illinois. The Huskers (21-9) will play 14th-ranked Iowa, seeded second, in the quarterfinals on Friday.

In the final game of the night, Shae Kelley scored 26 points, Amanda Zahui B. added 21 points and 11 rebounds and Minnesota edged Purdue 82-78 in the Big Ten Tournament. The Golden Gophers (23-8) advance to play third-seeded Ohio State in the quarterfinals on Friday.

April Wilson went coast-to-coast and scored an uncontested layup with 3.7 seconds left as No. 14 seed Purdue rallied to beat 11th-seeded Wisconsin 58-56 Wednesday night in first round of the Big Ten Conference tournament.
