Sam Thompson is known for his theatrics off inbound passes, slamming home countless alley-oops following a foul or timeout during his Ohio State career.
In Wednesday night's win at Penn State, the high-flyer scored off another inbound pass, this time as a defender.
Really.
The Buckeyes were in a full-court press, and Thompson, guarding the inbounder, got his hand on the pass, deflecting it into the air above the basket. Next thing you know, the ball deflects off the backboard and through the net – almost like it was planned.
Ever see something like this before, Big Ten fans?
So, @OhioStateHoops' Sam Thompson just scored in one of the more unorthodox ways. #IntelGoesB1G #MarchOnBTN http://t.co/NHDy00kFCW
