Urban Meyer and roughly 2,500 passengers aboard The Royal Caribbean?s Brilliance of the Seas remained stuck at sea Tuesday due to dense fog.
The ship, which has hosted the annual Buckeye Cruise for Cancer the last five days, was slowly heading to the Port of Tampa with the help of the U.S. Coast Guard on Tuesday afternoon, according to Tim May of The Columbus Dispatch.
The Buckeyes Cruise for Cancer is a major fundraiser that benefits the Urban & Shelley Meyer Fund for cancer research and The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center — Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.
?We are good. No worries,? Meyer texted to The Dispatch on Tuesday morning when asked for a status update. ?We raised upward of $2 million for The James.
?However, we are ready to get home.?
