Johnny Dawkins was a highlight machine during his days at Duke in the mid-'80s. Well, his son, Aubrey, is starting to make some highlights of his own.

Aubrey Dawkins, who is a freshman guard at Michigan, threw down a thunderous one-handed dunk in Michigan's 64-52 overtime loss to Illinois on Thursday at the State Farm Center.

This reminded me of a Vince Carter-esque dunk during his time with the Toronto Raptors. Watch Dawkins catch the bounce pass, elevate and throw down a tomahawk slam over an Illinois defender.
