Saturday featured four exciting Big Ten men's basketball games.

Illinois kicked off the day with an impressive 59-54 win over Michigan State. That marks the second straight win for the Fighting Illini at the Breslin Center.

In other Big Ten action: Minnesota knocked off Purdue, 62-58, Penn State dropped Nebraska, 56-43, and Wisconsin topped Northwestern, 65-50.

Malcolm Hill scored 19 points and Illinois withstood a last-minute technical foul to beat Michigan State 59-54 on Saturday afternoon. Kendrick Nunn added 14 points and Nnanna Egwu had 12 points and nine rebounds.

MINNESOTA 62, PURDUE 58: BOX | PBP | AP RECAP
Andre Hollins scored 18 points and Minnesota held Purdue scoreless for the first five minutes of the second half in a 62-58 victory on Saturday. Joey King added 11 for the Golden Gophers.

PENN STATE 56, NEBRASKA 43: BOX | PBP | AP RECAP
Geno Thorpe scored 14 points, Brandon Taylor 11 and Penn State was able to take advantage of Nebraska's cold shooting to beat the Huskers 56-43 on Saturday.

WISCONSIN 65, NORTHWESTERN 50: BOX | PBP | AP RECAP
Bronson Koenig scored a season-high 16 points, Sam Dekker also had 16 and No. 5 Wisconsin won its sixth straight by beating Northwestern 65-50 on Saturday.
