Fresh off a national championship victory, Ohio State coach Urban Meyer is set to make an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman on Friday night.

Much to college football fan's delight, a preview clip of Meyer's interview was recently released. In the clip, Meyer talks about the Buckeyes' situation at quarterback and how Cardale Jones became the team's quarterback at the end of the season and led the Buckeyes to the national title.

?Braxton Miller was a Heisman candidate, hurt his shoulder,? Meyer said. ?J.T. Barrett took over, became a Heisman finalist, broke his ankle against the team up north.?

"The team up north?" Letterman asks.

"That's our rival," Meyer replies. "I can't say the word."

Check out the full clip above.

Tune into Friday's episode featuring Meyer at 11:35 ET on CBS.
