There were several great moments and story lines that emerged in the aftermath of Ohio State's national title game victory over Oregon on Monday night.
The most interesting one may have come courtesy of USA TODAY writer and BTN contributor Nicole Auerbach, who reported that Urban Meyer promised his players he would get a tattoo if Ohio State won the national crown.
"He promised us after we beat 'Bama in the locker room that if we won the next one, he'd get a tattoo," tight end Jeff Heuerman told Auerbach.

The Buckeyes beat the Ducks, 42-20, so now it's time for Meyer, who became just the second coach to win a national title at two schools, to visit the tattoo parlor.
What kind of tattoo? Meyer isn't sure, but he did tell Auerbach that he was thinking about a Block "O."
Sure sounds like it's only a matter of time before we see a Rick Pitino-esque Meyer picture on the web.
One thing's for certain: The Buckeyes won't let their coach off the hook should he have a change of heart.
"We have core values, and honesty is one of them, so he better not be lying," Joey Bosa told Auerbach.
Is Meyer pointing to where he'll get the tattoo in this picture?
