Scoring 1,000 points in your college career is quite an impressive accomplishment. Topping the 1,000-point mark on a rim-rattling follow-up slam just puts the cherry on top!

That is exactly what Sam Dekker did on Wednesday night.

Trailing Purdue 21-18 late in the first half, Wisconsin guard Josh Gasser missed a deep 3-point shot, but Dekker was there to follow it up with a thunderous one-handed slam.

The must-see dunk gave Dekker 1,001 career points, making him the the 39th member of the Badgers' 1,000-point club and the 17th player to do it in just three seasons.

Check it out in the video above.

That's what you call "hitting the 1,000 career point mark in style!"
