Former Nebraska two-sport star and current Huskers baseball coach Darin Erstad received one vote for the MLB Hall of Fame on Tuesday.

That's great and all, but Erstad's self-deprecating reaction to the surprising news was even better. See it in the tweet above.

Erstad, a 2002 World Series champion, a three-time Gold Glove winner and a two-time All-Star, had a strong MLB career, finishing with a .282 AVG (1,697 hits), 124 home runs, 699 RBI and 179 stolen bases in 14 seasons.

His "punters r people too" response to this tweet was pretty great, as well.

Erstad was the punter on Nebraska's 1994 national champion team.
