It was a busy day of Big Ten men's basketball action, highlighted by Maryland's impressive win over Minnesota in the Terps' first Big Ten home game.
In other action, Purdue took down Michigan, 64-51, No. 18 Ohio State ran past Illinois, 77-61, and Rutgers topped Penn State, 50-46.

PURDUE 64, MICHIGAN 51: BOX | PBP | AP RECAP
Vince Edwards scored 16 points, A.J. Hammons had 15 points and 12 rebounds and Purdue used a stifling defense in the second half Saturday to rally past Michigan 64-51.
OHIO STATE 77, ILLINOIS 61: BOX | PBP | AP RECAP
D'Angelo Russell scored 22 points, including eight during a decisive 15-0 second-half run, to lead No. 20 Ohio State past Illinois 77-61 on Saturday.
RUTGERS 50, PENN STATE 46: BOX | PBP | AP RECAP
Kadeem Jack had 12 points and 11 rebounds to help Rutgers hold off Penn State for a 50-46 win Saturday night.
