The Big Ten office announced its latest Big Ten Men's Basketball Players of the Week on Monday. See the award winners below.
Player of the Week: Frank Kaminsky, Wisconsin, F, 7-0, Sr.
- Averaged 19.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game in the Badgers? road win at California and victory over Buffalo, a top-25 RPI team
- Scored 14 points and pulled down eight rebounds against the Golden Bears, as the Badgers improved to 3-0 in road games
- Recorded his Big Ten-leading fifth double-double of the season with 25 points and 11 rebounds to go along with six blocks versus Buffalo, moving him into a tie for second place on Wisconsin?s career blocks list (124) with Rashard Griffith
- Currently ranks second in the Big Ten in rebounding at 7.9 caroms per game, and eighth in scoring with 16.5 points per contest
- Earns his fourth career Big Ten Player of the Week honor and second this season

Freshman of the Week: D?Angelo Russell, Ohio State, G, 6-5
- Averaged 19.5 points, 6.0 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game in the Buckeyes? wins over Miami (Ohio) and Wright State
- For the week, shot 66.7 percent (12-of-18) from the field, and 71.4 percent (10-of-14) from three-point range
- Chipped in 15 points, including four three-pointers, handed out a season-high nine assists and tallied two steals against the Redhawks
- Poured in 24 points, including an Ohio State freshman record six three-point field goals (6-of-6), corralled six rebounds and swiped two steals versus the Raiders
- Currently tied for fourth in the Big Ten in scoring at 17.7 points per game, ranks fourth with 5.3 assists per contest and has converted 35 three-pointers, tied for second in the conference
- Earns his second Freshman of the Week honor
