There was a quartet of Big Ten men's basketball games Sunday, including Northwestern toppling Mississippi Valley State, 101-49.

D.J. Newbill scored 20 points, Brandon Taylor added 17 and Penn State defeated George Washington 64-51 Sunday for its eighth straight win. Jordan Dickerson registered a career-high six blocks.

Rutgers 63, Manhattan 55: BOX | PBP | AP RECAP
Kadeem Jack scored a season-high 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Rutgers to a 63-55 win over Manhattan on Sunday in the first game of the ECAC Holiday Festival at Madison Square Garden.

Mississippi Valley State at Northwestern: BOX | PBP | AP RECAP
Alex Olah scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and Northwestern snapped a three-game losing streak by beating Mississippi Valley State 101-49 on Sunday.

Michigan State 87, Oakland 61: BOX | PBP | AP RECAP
Denzel Valentine scored a game-high 19 points to lead Michigan State to an 87-61 win over Oakland on Sunday night. Four other Spartans scored in double figures, including Branden Dawson (15).
