Melvin Gordon is headed to New York City!
The Heisman Trophy announced its finalists Monday night, and the Wisconsin running back was one of three invitees, along with Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota and Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper.
Gordon rushed for a Big Ten single-season record 2,336 yards, including a then-FBS record 408 vs. Nebraska last month.
He also scored 29 touchdowns, 26 of which came on the ground, and eclipsed the 100-yard rushing plateau in 11 of 13 games.
