With its 3-0 win over No. 19 Purdue on Friday, the No. 2 Wisconsin volleyball team earned the outright 2014 Big Ten Championship. The Badgers had clinched at least a share of the title on Wednesday.

The crown marks Wisconsin's first Big Ten title since 2001 and fifth overall, having also finished first in 1990, 1997 and 2000. The Badgers improve to 19-1 in Big Ten play and 28-2 overall and have earned the conference's automatic berth to the NCAA Championship.

The Badgers won by a score of 25-18 in the first set, following with a 25-19 win in Set 2 and a 25-15 victory to clinch the match in the third set. Taylor Morey led Wisconsin with 20 digs, while Lauren Carlini tallied 34 assists and Courtney Thomas added 12 kills.

The 2014 Big Ten volleyball season concludes on Saturday, with the 2014 NCAA Championship field set to be announced on Sunday. The 2014 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship selection show is scheduled to air at 8:30 p.m. ET on Sunday on ESPNU.
