Ohio State basketball fans had to love what they saw from freshman D'Angelo Russell in his first exhibition Sunday afternoon.
The highly touted freshman flirted with a triple-double (17 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists) to help lead the Buckeyes to a convincing 77-37 victory over Walsh.
Sam Thompson (13 points), Marc Loving (12) and Jae'Sean Tate (10) also scored in double figures for the Buckeyes, while Temple transfer Anthony Lee had eight points and seven rebounds in his debut.
