Michigan State won its sixth Big Ten Women?s Cross Country Championship on Sunday, placing three runners in the top five at the Ashton Cross Country Course. The championship marks the Spartans? second consecutive title.

Michigan State was paced by Leah O?Connor, who claimed individual medalist honors, crossing the 6K finish line in a time of 19:26.3. Rachele Schulist placed third (19:54.4) and Lindsay Clark finished fourth (19:59.7). The Spartans collected 26 team points.

Wisconsin finished second with 55 points after placing two runners among the top five. The Badgers? Sarah Disanza placed second (19:28.1) and Molly Hanson finished fifth (20:02.9). Michigan claimed third place with 93 points.

The Big Ten Cross Country Championships will air on BTN via tape-delay at 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
