Michigan State rolls on, so I am keeping them in the playoffs as a No. 3 seed playing in the Rose Bowl, this week vs. No. 2 Alabama.

The other playoff semifinal? No. 1 Florida State vs. No. 4 Oregon in the Sugar Bowl.

I also have slotted Ohio State into a New Year?s Day Bowl. But the Buckeyes easily could replace the Spartans in the playoff if they win out, including a win Nov. 8 at Michigan State.

Here?s a look at this week?s bowl projections, which feature 10 Big Ten squads.

Rose: Michigan State vs. Alabama
Fiesta: Ohio State vs. Ole Miss
Citrus: Nebraska vs. Auburn
Outback: Wisconsin vs. Missouri
Holiday: Minnesota vs. Arizona
TaxSlayer: Iowa vs. South Carolina
San Francisco: Maryland vs. Stanford
New Era Pinstripe: Penn State vs. Miami (FL)
Quick Lane: Northwestern vs. BC
Heart of Dallas: Rutgers vs. UTEP
