There are five Big Ten football games on tap for Saturday, highlighted by Ohio State's primetime matchup with Penn State at 8 p.m. ET.
I caught up with former Maryland standout Shawne Merriman and asked him to give me one impact player for every Big Ten game this weekend.
Here is a rundown of Saturday?s games (view our scoreboard) and a snippet of what Merriman had to say.
MINNESOTA at ILLINOIS - David Cobb, RB, Minnesota
I don't see them throwing the ball a lot so he will get a lot of carries.

RUTGERS at NEBRASKA - Randy Gregory, DE, Nebraska
He will have to go out and put pressure on Gary Nova.
MARYLAND at WISCONSIN - Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin
He's done it so many times. He is their workhorse.
MICHIGAN at MICHIGAN STATE - Devin Gardner, QB, Michigan
If he goes out, uses his legs to run down the field, makes some things happen, not turn the ball over and let that defense go out and play well, they might have a shot to stay in this game.
OHIO STATE at PENN STATE - Donovan Smith, OT, Penn State
He's going against Joey Bosa and that's going to be a long, hard battle.
