Melvin Gordon hasn't looked like Melvin Gordon in Wisconsin's first two games. The star running back and preseason Heisman Trophy contender looked like his vintage self in the first half vs. Bowling Green on Saturday.
Gordon, who entered the game with 178 yards rushing, exploded for 179 yards and four touchdowns, including the impressive 50-yarder in the video above. Kind of a nice stiff-arm on that run, huh?
The most impressive stat, perhaps: Gordon is averaging 16.3 yards per carry in the first 30 minutes.
