Here a new videoboard, there a new videoboard, everywhere a new videoboard. Northwestern is the latest example of schools upgrading scoreboards to enhance the fan experience. Earlier this week, the Wildcats released renderings of the new videoboards at Ryan Field. On Wednesday, it was time to show off the four new HD boards at Welsh-Ryan Arena.

"The new videoboards are going to take the atmosphere at Welsh-Ryan Arena to another level," Chris Collins said in a team release. "This is another great step by our administration in showing their commitment to making a great gameday experience for both our student-athletes and our fans."
According to the release, installation of the boards is slated to begin following graduation ceremonies in late June and will be in place for the start of the 2014 volleyball home season.
