Every Big Ten football fan knows that Michigan-Ohio State is one of the most well-respected rivalries in college sports. Well, in recent years, the in-state Michigan-Michigan State rivalry has been making a move up the ranks.
There's the "Little Brother" jab, of course, and the Wolverines have started to refer to the Spartans as "State," and not "Michigan State," on their in-house schedule. So, it's "Ohio" and "State," both in respective school colors, for Michigan's two biggest Big Ten rivals.
