Ohio State tailback Dontre Wilson is thought of by many to be the fastest player in the Big Ten… Not so fast! Urban Meyer invited OSU students to challenge several Buckeye football players in a race during halftime of Saturday's Scarlet and Gray spring football game.
Wilson was viewed by many to be the overall favorite to win the race, but OSU senior Malcolm Branson, who is a Criminal Justice major, cruised to a victory in the 40-yard dash.
Watch the race here:

Branson graduated from Massillon Perry High School, where he competed on the track team.
He recently told our friends over at elevenwarriors.com how fast he really is.
?Will you believe me if I tell you?? Branson said to 11W reporter Kyle Rowland. ?4.28.?
The top three runners from the race ran again, and it was OSU defensive back Doran Grant who won this time, edging out a narrow victory over the speedy Branson.
Defensive back @DoranGrant is THE Fastest @OhioState Student! Great job by all! #RaceOff #GoBucks https://t.co/Cxgj1kotbk
