Isaiah Austin scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead No. 6 seed Baylor to a 74-60 win over No. 11 seed Nebraska on Friday at AT&T Center in San Antonio in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Baylor (25-11) broke out for a 17-5 run to take a 10-point lead with 8:16 to go in the first half. Cory Jefferson knocked down a free throw that capped off the run by the Bears and helped Baylor lead 29-16 at the half. Get the full box score here.

Nebraska coach Tim Miles was ejected from the game in the second half. Miles received two technical fouls after halftime and left the floor with a little more than 11 minutes to go. Baylor held a 46-32 lead at that point. Assistant coach Craig Smith took over for Miles.

Baylor's Rico Gathers hit 4-of-5 shots from the field and scoring 11 points. The Bears went 38-of-48 from the charity stripe as a team (79 percent). Baylor also got double-digit performances from Brady Heslip (12 points) and Jefferson (16 points).

Shavon Shields scored 16 points, corralled five rebounds, and went 7-of-13 from the field for Nebraska (19-13) in the game. More Nebraska scoring came from Ray Gallegos (15 points) and Terran Petteway (18 points).
The Bears won the battle on the boards as well as the game, as they outrebounded the Cornhuskers 41-31.

In the first half, Baylor clamped down defensively on Nebraska and held the Cornhuskers to 23 percent shooting in the first half for a 29-16 lead going into the break The Bears also made 14 of 20 free throws and went on an 8-0 run to open up a 12-3 advantage early. Gary Franklin led Baylor in the first half, with seven points. Nebraska's Shavon Shields has seven points and three rebounds.
