Eight-year-old Michigan State super fan Lacey Holsworth — featured on "The Journey" several times — has become an inspiration throughout the college basketball world, and beyond. That became more than evident today as Holsworth, who is battling an aggressive form of cancer known as neuroblastoma, found out she has a new follower on Twitter: ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas.
Why is that unique, you ask? Because Holsworth is Billas' first, and only person he follows on Twitter.
Bilas send out the following tweet to his 658k followers earlier this afternoon. Credit USA Today's For the Win for sharing the story.
I follow Lacey, and so should you. She is amazing. http://t.co/Ob1nhjQiSj

Holsworth's inspirational story was introduced to the public last year when she was featured on an episode of BTN's "The Journey."
The feature tells the story of her unique relationship with MSU senior Adreian Payne, who refers to Holsworth as his little sister. Payne was introduced to Holsworth several years back after he and other members of the MSU basketball team visited her in the hospital. Since that time, he has built an incredible relationship with her, and recently invited Holsworth to accompany him on the Breslin Center court for his senior day ceremony, following the Spartans 86-76 win over Iowa back on March 6.

Holsworth was also in attendance at this past weekend's Big Ten Tournament Championship game where she got to see her Spartans defeat in-state rival Michigan. She helped Payne cut down the nets in celebration of the Spartans' Big Ten Title.

If Bilas is only going to follow one person on twitter, he certainly made a great pick in choosing Holsworth.
