Former Nebraska forward Brandon Ubel experienced a lot during his time as a Husker. Not only did Nebraska move from the Big 12 to the Big Ten midway through his career, he played his final season for Tim Miles after spending the first three years under Doc Sadler. As a result, Ubel has an interesting perspective on Nebraska's sooner-than-expected turnaround season. See my Twitter Q&A with him in this post.

@BTNBrentYarina I knew they had talent all along, but they needed to grow up a little and the past few weeks we've all seen that happen.

@BTNBrentYarina Ha if you knew how hard he works you would have seen this coming. I truly believe he has NBA level talent and work ethic.

@BTNBrentYarina Man that would be awesome!! There are winnable games, but the #B1G is unforgiving. Have to stay focused on each game.

@BTNBrentYarina He's got a ton of energy and can really coach! I love him, but he thinks he's funnier than he is. Don't tell him I said that

@BTNBrentYarina I think they are both great coaches, but the energy and positivity around the program now is through the roof.

@BTNBrentYarina You know it would have been great, but the Devaney Center was my home and I'm glad I was able to close it out on a good note

@BTNBrentYarina I stream every game online and try to watch them all. It's tough if we have an early practice and their game starts at 4 AM.

@BTNBrentYarina I'm pretty sure they were about dead on… Except our our halftime speeches didn't get edited for the masses haha
