It was a great week for Ohio State basketball players, both current and former. The Buckeyes went 2-0, including a big road win at Iowa, and ex-Ohio State star Jared Sullinger dominated the NBA en route to picking up Eastern Conference Player of the Week. In three games, Sullinger registered a trio of double-doubles and averaged 20.3 points, 12.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.7 blocks.
Sullinger is the first ex-Big Ten player to earn NBA Player of the Week honors this season. Jordan Crawford, who started his career at Indiana before transferring to Xavier, won the honor for Dec. 2-8.
Congrats to the two-year Ohio State star!
