There were four Big Ten hoops games on Saturday. Nebraska kicked off the action with a 53-49 win over Northwestern. Iowa followed with an impressive 85-67 victory over Michigan, Ohio State knocked off Purdue, 67-49, and Minnesota got the best of Indiana, 66-60. MINNESOTA 66, INDIANA 60 | RECAP | BOX | PLAY-BY-PLAY
(AP) DeAndre Mathieu had 10 of his 16 points in the second half, helping Minnesota overtake Indiana for a 66-60 victory on Saturday night to end a three-game losing streak. Maurice Walker pitched in 14 points and eight rebounds, and Andre Hollins added 10 points for the Gophers (16-8, 5-6 Big Ten), who lost to Nebraska, Northwestern and Purdue over the last two weeks by a total of eight points. This time, they came through in the closing minutes.

IOWA 85, MICHIGAN 67 | RECAP | BOX | PLAY-BY-PLAY
(AP) Roy Devyn Marble scored 22 of his 26 points in the first half and No. 17 Iowa beat No. 10 Michigan 85-67 on Saturday. Aaron White added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Hawkeyes (18-6, 7-4 Big Ten), who avoided a third straight loss at home and split the season series with Michigan. Caris LeVert scored 22 points for the Wolverines (17-6, 9-2), who have lost two of three after starting 8-0 in the Big Ten.

OHIO STATE 67, PURDUE 49 | RECAP | BOX | PLAY-BY-PLAY
(AP) Lenzelle Smith Jr., starting his 100th game, hit 4 of 7 3-pointers and scored 16 points to lead Ohio State past Purdue 67-49 on Saturday night, the Buckeyes' third win in a row after losing five of six. LaQuinton Ross led the way with 17 points for Ohio State (19-5, 6-5 Big Ten). Reserves Kendall Stephens and Rapheal Davis had 12 and 11 points with A.J. Hammons adding 11 for the Boilermakers (14-10, 4-7), who have lost five of six overall and their last four on the road.

NEBRASKA 53, NORTHWESTERN 49 | RECAP | BOX | PLAY-BY-PLAY
(AP) Terran Petteway scored 17 points, and Nebraska overcame a slow start to beat Northwestern 53-49 on Saturday. Walter Pitchford added 15 points, nailing three 3-pointers, and the Cornhuskers (12-10, 4-6 Big Ten) picked themselves up after getting blown out by Michigan earlier in the week. They trailed by six after an ugly first half and blew an eight-point lead late in the second but managed to pull this one out.
