There were four Big Ten women's games tonight, highlighted by Penn State's 75-72 victory over Purdue. In other Big Ten women's action, Northwestern edged out a win over Indiana, Michigan State got the best of Wisconsin, and Ohio State cruised to a victory over Illinois.

PENN STATE 75, PURDUE 72 | RECAP | BOX
Maggie Lucas had 23 points and Ariel Edwards added 21 as No. 12 Penn State avenged its lone Big Ten loss by beating No. 19 Purdue 75-72 Thursday night. Penn State led 70-63 with 3:07 to go, but a 9-4 run by the Boilermakers cut the deficit to 74-72.
NORTHWESTERN 58, INDIANA 52 | RECAP | BOX
It was another close Big Ten battle Thursday night between the Wildcats and Hoosiers with Northwestern prevailing 58-52 down the stretch. With nine ties and nine lead changes, the Wildcats drained their free throws down the stretch to improve to 14-7 on the year, 4-4 in the Big Ten and are now winners in back-to-back Big Ten contests.
MICHIGAN STATE 71, WISCONSIN 67 | RECAP | BOX
The Michigan State women's basketball team held off Wisconsin on Thursday night for a 71-67 victory at the Breslin Center. The Spartans (14-7) remain alone in second place in the Big Ten at 6-2 at the midway point of conference play. Five Spartans scored in double digits in the balanced offense attack.
OHIO STATE 90, ILLINOIS 64 | RECAP | BOX
Ameryst Alston recorded career highs with 31 points and 10 assists and Raven Ferguson continued her stellar play off the bench with a career-high 24 points as the Buckeyes posted a 90-64 win over visiting Illinois Thursday evening at Value City Arena.
