Minnesota football coach Jerry Kill has announced that he will continue to coach from the press box in tonight's Texas Bowl matchup against Syracuse. According to the StarTribune.com, Kill contemplated the idea of coaching from the sideline, but after a meeting late Thursday night, he decided it is best to remain in the box for the seventh consecutive game.

Kill, who hasn't coached on the field since the Gophers' 23-7 loss against Iowa back on Sept. 28, has remained in the booth after electing to take a medical leave due to reoccurring epilepsy issues.
The Gophers went 4-3 under defensive coordinator and acting head coach Tracy Claeys, who will man the sidelines for Minnesota again tonight.
