Friday's episode of "Forever B1G" profiles A.J. Guyton (Indiana) and Darnell Autry (Northwestern) in our latest look at two former Big Ten stars who pursued careers once their playing days ended. Guyton, the 1997 Big Ten Freshmen of The Year and consensus first-team All-American in 2000, was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the second round of the 2000 NBA Draft. Guyton was diagnosed with advanced glaucoma in 2006, effectively ending his playing career. He is currently head basketball coach for the Bloomington Flex of the Premier Basketball League.
Autry, a first-team All-Big Ten running back in1995 and 1996 and a 1995 Heisman Trophy Finalist, was drafted by Chicago Bears in 1997. Autry is a radio and television show host in Arizona, and he owns his own film and TV production company called Team Autry Productions.
