OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ted Ginn Jr., WR, Carolina (3 rec., 62 yards, 1 TD; 3 KR, 80 yards; 2 PR, 20 yards) – The former Buckeye amassed 162 total yards, including 62 receiving yards, and hauled in a 40-yard touchdown in Carolina's 24-23 loss at Buffalo.
Honorable mention: Rashard Mendenhall, Arizona (15 car., 66 yards, 1 TD; 2 rec., 28 yards); Drew Brees, New Orleans (26-46, 322 yards, 1 TD); Garrett Graham, Houston (3 rec., 30 yards, 1 TD).
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: DeAndre Levy, LB, Detroit (5 tackles, 1 INT, 1 TD) – The former Badger tallied five tackles and returned an interception 66 yards for a score in Detroit's 25-21 loss at Arizona.
Honorable mention: J.J. Watt, Houston (5 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 PD); Ryan Kerrigan, Washington (5 tackles 2 sacks); Tracy Porter, Oakland (5 tackles, .5 sacks, 3 PD).
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jay Feely, Arizona (4-4 FG, 1-1 XP) – The ex-Michigan kicker nailed all four of his field goals, including a 47-yarder, in Arizona's 25-21 victory over Detroit.
Honorable mention: Brad Nortman, Carolina (5 punts, 51.4 AVG, 3 inside the 20); Mike Nugent, Cincinnati (2-2 FG, 2-2 XP); Keshawn Martin, Houston (4 KR, 104 yards).
