BTN/BTN2Go announces 2013 volleyball coverage

CHICAGO - BTN will provide extensive coverage of the 2013 Big Ten volleyball season, with more than 70 matches set to air on BTN, BTN2Go and the Big Ten Digital Network (BTDN). BTN?s volleyball lineup will feature a match on most Wednesday and Friday evenings through the beginning of November. All games will also be available on BTN2Go.

Television coverage begins Wednesday, Sept. 25, when Indiana visits 2012 NCAA Tournament quarterfinalist Minnesota. Michigan will then face Ohio State on Friday, Sept. 27, followed by a doubleheader Saturday, Sept. 28, featuring Nebraska at Illinois and Michigan at reigning Big Ten champion Penn State.

The Big Ten, which sent seven teams to the NCAA tourney last season, was well-represented in the preseason AVCA Division I Coaches Poll, with seven teams earning a top-25 ranking, four of which landed in the top 10.

Built into the schedule are two wildcard dates in November, allowing BTN to select the most appealing matchups as teams face off for the Big Ten title. Below is a complete television schedule for BTN?s volleyball coverage.  A complete streaming schedule can be found online at BTN.com.
