Penn State basketball is back at Rec Hall–for one game, at least. Wednesday, Penn State announced it will host Princeton on Saturday, Dec. 14 in its old gym.

"This is a very exciting day for our program, alumni and fans of Penn State basketball," Penn State coach Patrick Chambers said in a release. "I watched Penn State basketball in Rec Hall when I was younger, and it was electric."
The game will mark the program's first at Rec Hall since the Nittany Lions steamrolled Wisconsin, 79-50, on Jan. 7, 1996. Four days later, Penn State moved into its new home, Bryce Jordan Center.
Listening to Pat Chambers talk about the Rec Hall game is like listening to a kid discuss an upcoming trip to Disney World. This is awesome.
