Another memorable Northwestern women's lacrosse season came to a close Friday in Philadelphia as the second-ranked Wildcats fell to No. 3 North Carolina, 11-4, in the NCAA Championship semifinals. Northwestern, which was appearing in the round of four for the ninth consecutive season, concludes the season with a 19-3 record and an American Lacrosse Conference championship under its belt.
